Steelers Le’Veon Bell Reinstated from Suspension

Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell was reinstated from the suspended list Monday. Bell’s two-game suspension came to an end over the weekend, and he is now eligible to resume playing for the Steelers.
DeAngelo Williams ran the ball well the last two weeks in Bell’s place, but he will move into a complimentary role, and Bell will be the Steelers’ top back from Week 3 onward.

DeAngelo Williams Weeks 1, 2, & 3

williamsI’ve always felt it was important to get off to a good start in fantasy football.  A 3-0 start to go along with roster moves can have you coasting your way towards the playoffs.

During your upcoming draft in the later rounds when you’re looking for filler picks, DeAngelo Williams can be an immediate 3-game starter and help you win those weeks as a flex.  Yes, he is old, but he has never played with a caliber of team like the Pittsburgh Steelers.  LeVeon Bell is suspended those first three weeks, so it makes a lot of sense to grab Williams.

I don’t know why, but it kind of reminds me of the Willie Parker scenario even though it’s a bit of a different situation.  Maybe it’s because Williams is going to shock people early just like Willie Parker did when he rushed for 1,420 in his 2nd year as a pro and first year as a starter after beginning the season with 161 and 111 yards rushing his first two games.
